BGoodMusic Ensemble

Going through my pictures, I had to share these practice sessions of my student jam sessions.

Practicing together–as in a jam session–creates an environment for creativity and expression. Learning to play together develops your aural awareness, as well as your inner sense of time. Balance of parts, confidence in leading a solo part, and overall sense of accomplishment are concepts that develop the musicality of a student.

In fact these sessions have lead to the success of my students forming their own bands and hosting gigs (music performance events). Isn’t that amazing?

This summer I will host a Music Jam with my students here in the US. It will be fun and inspiring!
